The first concert is scheduled for Sunday, October 14, at 6 p.m. at Salem Heights Baptist church.\u00a0 Additionally, the 105-member choir will be performing on Sunday, October 21, at 6:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Ellisville and on November 11, at 6 p.m., the choir will be presenting their concert at Hebron Baptist Church in Soso. The season concludes with the annual Christmas Concert at the First Baptist Church of Laurel on Sunday and Monday, December 2 and 3, at 6 p.m. The public is invited to attend these free events.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>JC Choral director, Joel Dunlap will be directing the talented members of the Concert Choir singing a varied repertoire including selections such as, \u201cThe May Night\u201d by Romantic composer, Johannes Brahms, a roaring concert spiritual, \u201cDaniel, Daniel, Servant of the Lord\u201d by Undine Moore, and an upbeat gospel selection, \u201cHe Never Failed Me Yet\u201d by Robert Ray. \u00a0The concert will also feature well-known hymn arrangements such as \u201cHow Great Thou Art\u201d and \u201cCome, Thou Fount of Every Blessing.\u201d \u00a0Other selections include, \u201cKeramos\u201d and \u201cIn Dulcie Jubilo\u201d and \u201cAscription of Praise\u201d to close the concert.<\/p>\n<p>Assisting the choir as the group\u2019s accompanist is Jones fine arts faculty member, Dr. Victoria Johnson.
