Bush Fine Arts Building. This year, 32 contestants competed for the title, \u201cMost Beautiful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-medium\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4357\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-683x1024.jpg 683w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-768x1152.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-1024x1536.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-1365x2048.jpg 1365w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/RyleeHowse-edit-scaled.jpg 1707w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Rylee Howse of Laurel was selected as the winner by a panel of judges as the 2023-2024 Âé¶¹Ö±²¥, \u201cMost Beautiful.\u201d Howse said she is honored to represent Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ in this role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI am still in complete shock that I was crowned Most Beautiful,\u201d Howse said. \u201cThere were 32 beautiful contestants, and I am filled with so much joy and gratitude to have been selected to represent this college.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Other winners include First Alternate-Emma Grace Buckley of Stringer, Second Alternate-Molly Griffin of Ellisville, Third Alternate-Anna Bolivar of Laurel, and Fourth Alternate-Breanna Harrison of Laurel. Other contestants chosen in the Top 10 were Isabelle Halley of Laurel, Bailie Bishop of Laurel, Halle Myrick of Petal, Madeline Smith of Sumrall and Mary Taylor Jones of Collins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"755\" src=\"https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-1024x755.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4358\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-1024x755.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-300x221.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-768x566.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-1536x1133.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/www.jcjc.edu\/jcnews\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Top5-1-11-23-2048x1510.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 767px) 89vw, (max-width: 1000px) 54vw, (max-width: 1071px) 543px, 580px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Top 5 Most Beautiful Pageant are pictured left to right, Emma Buckley-first alternate, Molly Griffin-second alternate, Rylee Howse-Most Beautiful, Anna Bolivar-third alternate and Breanna Harrison-fourth alternate.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Breanna Harrison was also voted as \u201cThe Audience\u2019s Choice\u201d winner and Bailie Bishop won both \u201cMost Photogenic\u201d and the Essay Contest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entertainment was provided by Jones OnStage with former Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Most Beautiful winner, Caidyn Crowder performing. The Spring 2023 Most Beautiful, Summer Boyd, returned to crown this fall\u2019s Most Beautiful pageant winner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This was the first year two Most Beautiful pageants were held within one year at JC. That decision was made by pageant director and Student Activities Director Emily Sullivan, along with the Student Affairs Office. Traditionally, the pageant has been held in the fall, but the COVID-19 pandemic forced the contest to be held outdoors in the spring. The pageant continued to be held in the spring semester until last year. To differentiate between the two Most Beautiful winners, the fall winner is titled, 2023-2024 Most Beautiful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pageant serves as a fundraiser for the student publications department\u2019s Madge Mailey JCJC Foundation Scholarship, and Student Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Photos and Story written by Âé¶¹Ö±²¥ Student Publications<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ELLISVILLE \u2013 Âé¶¹Ö±²¥\u2019s Student Publications and Student Affairs Office held the annual Most Beautiful Pageant on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, in the newly renovated M.P.
