ELLISVILLE \u2013 <\/strong>Six Â鶹ֱ²¥ Associate Degree Nursing students were inducted into the Nursing Honor Society, Alpha Delta Nu, Gamma Mu Chapter at Â鶹ֱ²¥. These students, Titus Crouch of Ellisville, Katie Edwards of Rose Hill, Josephine Evans of Waynesboro, John-Thomas Skyler Reeves of Laurel, Shannon Smith of Carson and Jonnah Walters of Ovett, were honored by the JC A.D. Nursing faculty, family and friends during a special induction ceremony recognizing their achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Â鶹ֱ²¥ Associate Degree Nursing students and recent Alpha Delta Nu Nursing Honor Society\u2019s newest members, (pictured left to right) Shannon Smith-Carson, Jonnah Walters-Ovett, Josephine Ariana Evans-Waynesboro, Katie Edwards-Rose Hill, John-Thomas Skyler Reeves-Laurel and Titus Crouch-Ellisville were recently inducted into the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society at a ceremony with A.D. Nursing faculty, family and friends.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Requirements for induction into the Nursing Honor Society include having a \u201cB\u201d average in all nursing courses with no repeats, complete a capstone project prior to graduation and demonstrate conduct on campus and in clinical areas which reflect integrity and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Membership in Alpha Delta Nu provides recognition for academic excellence, potential for scholarships to continue education, and is a quality addition to students\u2019 professional portfolio. Danielle Matthews and Allyson Turner are advisors for this chapter. The graduation\/pinning ceremony for all of the A.D. Nursing program\u2019s spring 2025 graduates will be Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium.
